OUR OPERATIONS

The Eternal Source office is located in Warriewood, NSW Australia.

Energy Consumption:

In November 2007, we installed an array of 14 photo-voltaic cells (solar panels). These amazing panels are currently providing us with the majority of our power and are preventing around 3 tonnes of carbon dioxide from entering our atmosphere each year.

In January 2008, we installed a solar hot water system with a gas boost. This fantastic system has decreased our gas consumption by around 80%.

Water Conservation:

Our 2,000 litre rainwater tank provides us with water for our toilets and gardens.

Vehicle Emissions:

We try to minimise our use of vehicles where-ever possible. We have offset all of our current and estimated vehicle emissions (for the next 5 years) with Greenfleet.

Cleaning Products in the Office:

We use the Seventh Generation natural cleaning products for all of our cleaning requirements, thereby dramatically minimising the amount of chemicals entering our waterways.

Marketing Material:

We have kept our marketing material to an absolute minimum, focusing our efforts into 1 wonderful marketing brochure that is printed on 100% recycled paper using waterless printing techniques. This has enabled our brochure to receive the "Good Environmental Choice" certification.

Composting:

We compost all of our organic waste into our 400 litre Aerobin Compost Bin, thereby enabling us to dramatically reduce the amount of waste we send to land fill.

Recycling:

We try to minimise our use of unnecessary packaging whereever possible. We package all customer orders in recycled cartons and use recycled newspaper as fillers in our parcels rather than bubble wrap or non-recyclable fillers.

We recycle all of our paper and plastic products and only use recycled paper in our office.
