Eco Tips:
Using your BioBag Shoppers:
- The fantastic strength of these bags means that you can use them many times prior to composting - this further helps to reduce your consumption of single-use plastic bags!
Composting:
- Composts within 10 to 45 days, depending on compost method used.
- BioBags are certified as home compostable by AiB Vinçotte according to the European Standard EN13432.
BioBags in the environment:
- BioBags will biodegrade in any
environment containing bacteria - whether a compost heap, the soil
or the sea.
- Because the BioBag is heavier than water, the bag will
sink from the surface and biodegrade at the bottom of the sea, river or
lake. It does not eliminate the hazard for marine wildlife, but significantly reduces it.
- As such, we ask that you please dispose of your Biobag mindfully!
