Materials Used:

• BioToilet Bags are made from the raw material Mater-Bi^TM, which contains renewable resources (such as non-genetically modified starch derived from corn or potato), biodegradable polyester (mainly derived from non-GMO vegetable oils) & natural plasticisers (made from non-GMO vegetable oils, free from Phthalates).
• The bags are printed using vegetable inks.

• BioToilet Bags are certified 100% biodegradable and compostable by OK Compost, Din Certco, according to the European Norm 13432 and B.P.I. for North America ASTMD 6400.  BioBags comply with the Australia Standard AS4736.

BioBags in the environment:

• While BioToilet bags work best when placed in composting or waste treatment plants, they will biodegrade in any environment containing bacteria - whether a compost heap, the soil or the sea.
• Because the BioToilet bags is heavier than water, the bag will sink from the surface and biodegrade at the bottom of the sea, river or lake.
• While this does not eliminate the hazard for marine wildlife, it significantly reduces it.
