Did You Know?

  • "With as few as 50 - 100 washings - even before you see wear - significant amounts of bisphenol A can leach into your baby's milk" (Toxic Baby Bottles Report 2007, Environment California, page 26-27.)

Components:

  • 207ml Baby-Safe stainless steel bottle (Birds design)
  • 1 x round silicone teat (slow flow) for babies
  • 1 x sippy spout (medium flow) for toddlers
  • 1 x removable handles
  • 1 x removable plastic ring (for when handles aren't being used)
  • 1 x protective cap to cover the teats
  • Additional replacement teats and spouts available

Key Features:

  • Fully insulated bottle made from high quality food grade (304) stainless steel (known as 18/8)
  • Food grade stainless steel does not leach harmful toxins that are often found in plastics, such as Bisphenol-A (BPA)
  • The seamless stainless steel interior means that no bacteria can gather, so the bottles don't retain smells or tastes from liquids (e.g. from juice or milk)
  • Helps baby transition from baby bottle to toddler cup
  • Durable, dent resistant & long-lasting, these bottles are great for parents on the go, and are suitable for even the toughest toddlers!
  • Easy to clean & look after, you can use the teat/spout until the first sign of wear and then you can simply replace them
  • All lids, teats & seals are 100% BPA free - safe for you AND the environment
  • Also free from phthalates & PVC
  • Gorgeous nature inspired designs, hand painted with non-toxic, low VOC (volatile organic compound) paint
  • Earthlust bottles do not contain any lining & are independently tested as lead-free (see Earthlust Lab Test Results)
  • The bottles have also been tested for safety and are certified as safe by the Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act (CPSIA - in the USA)
  • Fully recyclable - simply separate the plastic and metal parts and place in a recycle bin!

How to Clean:

  • Wash your Earthlust Birds bottle with a mild dishwashing detergent
  • Dishwasher not recommended
  • Sterilise silicone teats and spouts in boiling water for 5 minutes prior to first use
  • You can also use a baking soda or diluted white vinegar wash to preserve the clean, neutral taste over time (brush as needed).
  • If you live in an area with a high mineral content in the water, you can remove calcium deposits by washing the bottle with warm water & white wine vinegar.
  • Do not freeze or place on the stove.
  • Bleach or ammonia should not be used on stainless steel.

Safety Instructions:

  • Dump any milk that has been stored unrefrigerated for more than 4 hours & clean thoroughly
  • Always test the temperature of a heated liquid
